I don't normally photograph weddings, but I just might start. This was especially fun to document for me since the woman getting married is someone I grew up with and calling my cousin, though blood had nothing to do with it. Her mother and mine have been friends since high-school and her mom and dad and brother and sister took me in like their own a couple summers growing up. So when I was asked to be their photographer, I couldn't refuse such a fun opportunity.
I loved everything about this wedding from the details of their matching blue rings, to the moments of her family's 200 year old pearls being wrapped around her as she was wed, just like the generations of women had done before her. It truly was a beautiful day I won't easily forget.
Many congratulations to this sweet couple.
